Safari Overview:
It’s another 4 Days safari package that will leave you satisfied with an amazing experience. The safari will take you around the best places in Tanzania by visiting places such as Tarangire national park, Ngorongoro Crater the home of Big 5 and Serengeti National Park.
Detailed Itinerary:
DAY 1 – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
In morning at 07:00hrs we will pick you at your hotel in Arusha and start a ride to the Tarangire National Park to start your game viewing experience in this magnificent park which is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population and variety of bird species, without forgetting one of the largest concentration of elephants in the country. After some hours of the game drive, we will go to the picnic site for lunch then we will keep on with the game drive around different parts of the park. After a full day game drive, we will drive to Karatu for overnight.
DAY 2: KARATU – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind while descending into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area which attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast at the lodge do an early game drive in Serengeti and around afternoon we depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area. We arrive in time for dinner at the lodge/camps and spend overnight. Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.
DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA
After early breakfast we will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants and high number of predators include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and leopard. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. In the afternoon after lunch we will slowly start driving to Arusha to your hotel which ends our program.
