Safari Overview:
Its 6 Days private tour to Tarangire,Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and lake Manyara safaris. This safari will take you around the best wildlife points in Tanzania such as Lake Manyara which is famous for its tree climbing lions, The Ngorongoro Crater which is known also as the Garden of Eden, Serengeti National Park and Tarangire national park. After safari you will also have another experience by visiting local Materuni village in Kilimanjaro with a beautiful waterfall and experience the local coffee making and ceremony.
Detailed Itinerary:
DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE:
Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 07:30 am then start the 3hours of driving to Tarangire national park. The park located about 115km from Arusha town and covers an area of 2800km squares. You will have full day game drive inside this park with picnic lunch while enjoying a good view. The park has major attractions including a large number of elephants, climbing trees pythons and baobab trees. You will also be able to see lions, leopards and other animals. Later you will drive to Fanaka lodge/or same for dinner and Overnight.
DAY 2: TARANGIRE TO SERENGETI:
After waking up this morning you will have breakfast with packed lunch boxes. You will pack your luggage in the safari jeep, then you will start another journey to Serengeti
On the way you will be able to view beautiful of Rift valley, view of Ngorongoro crater and different landform as we will pass by Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have your lunch on the picnic site while you tour guide is making the check-in then will have an evening game drive in central Serengeti. You will be able to see different animals on the plain while getting a good view of the sunset. After sunset, you will have dinner and overnight in Serengeti Heritage in Central Serengeti.
The Endless plain and great Serengeti wildebeest migration which involve thousands of herbivores followed by predators and birds of prey makes Serengeti one of the most attractive park and stays unique for this wildlife circle that takes place throughout the year.
DAY 3: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER.
You will wake 5.45am and see the Sun rise in the mid of Serengeti, then get bck to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast you will start the morning game drive up to 11.30am then you head back to campsite for the lunch. Due to the high number of large animals in Serengeti you will be coming across Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, Lions Buffaloes and other medium to small animals then pack your stuff to the jeep.
After getting your hot lunch you will proceed with game drive in Serengeti while heading to Ngorongoro conservation area where you will get your dinner and spend your night at Ang’ata Camp or similar.
DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK.
Wake up around 6:00 am for your breakfast then leave to NgoroNgoro crater. You will see different species of wild animals includes Lions, Black Rhinos, Elephants, Jackals, Hippos, Wildebeest, Spotted Hyenas, Zebras, Elands, Gazelles, and many small animals like Kobs, Antelopes and different species of Birds. You will have your lunch inside the crater while watching the nature and high concentrations of birds nearby, including flamingos and other small birds. You will be able to see the astounding Ngorongoro Crater which is famous for being the largest inactive and intact volcanic caldera in the world. A result of a major explosion of volcano that collapsed later about 2 to 3 million years ago. The Crater was officially hailed as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in 2015.After full day inside the crater our driver guide will drive you to a small town of Mto wa Mbu where you will overnight at Fanaka Lodge or similar. On this day after crater tour you will have a walking tour in a small town of mto wa mbu where you will experience how local people live, see banana plantations and taste local food also.
DAY 5: LAKE MANYARA TO ARUSHA:
After morning breakfast you will head to lake Manyara for a full day game drive with picnic lunch inside the park. During the game drive you will be able to see different attractions including climbing tree lions and a lot of flamingos, Stokes, pelicans and other water birds on the lake. After that will also visit a hot spring that is inside the park then later drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: MATERUNI VILLAGE COFFEE AND WATERFALLS DAY TRIP:
Materuni village is a beautifully lush area to visit on the outskirts of Moshi Here you can really get to grips with the life of the local Chagga people. You will start by having a hike to the materuni waterfalls whereby if you are interested at swimming, you can swim at the basement of the falls. After that will get back to the village for the local experience. Here your guide will explain all aspects of the Chagga homestead including the other crops that they grow aside from coffee. You will get to see how the coffee is produced locally from picking the bean to roasting and then drinking a delicious cup yourself. After this activity our driver will drive you back to arusha or airport if you are departing.
